Caricatures & Caricature artists at events & what Goofy Faces has been up to lately.

Recently, Goofy Faces was hired to provide 4 artists during the Best of Baltimore Event, presented by Living Social. Each artist entertained attendees for 5 hours during the event. Each caricature included the Living Social's logo preprinted on the caricature as the sponsor.

In addition to our artists who draw at events as entertainment,Goofy Faces also has 9 retail stands located around the country at major family attractions coast-to-coast. Each location is run by a talented and trained manager. Manager Cliff, (upper right) was kind enough to draw a caricature of each manager so they'd each have their own. Drop by one of our stands this summer and have one of these fun artists or their trained staff draw or paint you and your family!
The Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Philadelphia Zoo (caricatures only)
The National Aquarium (Baltimore)
The New England Aquarium (Boston)
The The Kalahari Resort at the Wisconsin Dells (caricatures only)

Goofy Faces was recently hired to draw caricatures in downtown Rochester, Michigan during its annual summertime sidewalk sale on July 13th. Shoppers enjoyed free caricatures thanks to our sponsor at the event, Beyond Juice located on 4th Street in downtown Rochester. They serve awesome food and drinks every day and even took the time to have some of their staff drawn by Goofy Faces during the sale. Goofy Faces can draw at your event no matter where it takes place. They can even include your company logo on the paper so everyone will know who to thank (and visit) for their free caricature.

This year I was offered an amazing opportunity to speak at the TTI/Vanguard: NextGens Technologies Conference in Miami, Florida at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. TTI/Vanguard is a unique forum for senior-level executives that links strategic technology planning to business success. Their conferences are about discovering technological possibilities for the 21st century. Five times annually, corporate and government leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and academicians come together to envision the future's future technologically. In highly interactive sessions, led by a world-class Advisory Board—John Perry Barlow, Maria Bezaitis, Gordon Bell, Peter Cochrane, Deborah Estrin, Eric Haseltine, Michael Hawley, Alan Kay, Leonard Kleinrock, Douglas Lenat, Robert Lucky, Nicholas Negroponte, and David Reed—and today's most influential thought leaders, debate is stimulated, and breakthrough ideas flourish.
Being around such innovative individuals was intimidating, to say the least. Having to give a presentation on the art of caricature to a group like this was even more nerve-racking. However, the presentation went off without a hitch and many attendees complimented me on my performance. In addition to speaking and networking, I also drew at one of their events on the last evening of the conference. Guests lined up to be drawn by one of the speakers which was a unique opportunity for them as well as myself!
