About the Artist
Big Al has been drawing live caricature at events since June 1985. He tries to capture personality as well as likeness. He's been a member of ISCA since 1994. In 1996 he won a "Silver Nosey" award at the NCN's (now ISCA) annual caricature convention in Houston, Texas. He continues to draw at over 100 events per year mostly in the SF Bay Area. In 2015 Big Al started doing digital caricatures and currently draws them on an iPad Pro.
