About the Artist
Inspired by portrait art, Peter is an artist who loves drawing caricatures, painting, and capturing the essence of an individual. He is passionate about creating a likeness when drawing caricatures, having drawn countless people at all night parties, corporate events, and special occasions for over twenty years. Peter graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in painting and drawing. He also has his MAT in art education. For the better part of the last decade Peter has been immersed in teaching art at almost every level in the Grosse Pointe Public Schools, deciding to leave at the end of the 2011-2012 academic year. Seeing so much wonderful and varied student artwork inspired him to follow his dream of establishing and cultivating his own art studio. Peter uses either 9"x12", or 11"x14" paper when drawing caricatures. Clients are free to choose which paper size they prefer to meet their event's specific needs.
