About the Artist
Laura got started drawing caricatures when she drew the debate team at her high school in Texas. Since then, she's drawn caricatures in St Louis (where she earned a Bachelors in Art from Washington University), in Miami, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. For the last 15 years she has been drawing at events in the Washington DC area. She takes inspiration from MAD magazine and going to the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery. Laura recently has taken up drawing digital caricatures with a Microsoft Surface tablet. She is available on weekends only for your event.
