About the Artist
I began my artistic career early on by lampooning my teachers in junior high. Unable to restrain my creative instincts I managed to survive college and many wrong decisions until mid-life, when I was able to spend a summer working at a theme park in Virginia drawing caricatures. Since then I have been active drawing at every possible type of event, high school prom parties, corporate events, community events, fund-raisers, several stints on cruise lines and for the last 14 years at a resort in the Shenandoah Valley, where I drew regularly at a Monday wine-tasting/craft show and taught a weekly fun-class in "how to draw caricatures", an entertainment event. I really enjoy drawing caricatures because I love to make people laugh, Wherever I go it's always a party, and I enjoy being part of what makes it so much fun. I get energized by drawing caricatures. It makes me laugh. The more people there are the faster I go, and the sillier it all gets. It's just too much fun.
