About the Artist
Dee is a former Disney artist with 37 years of freelance experience in caricaturing and illustration. He graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design, is an Eagle Scout and was the 2009 Citizen of the Year in Orange County. Dee has also earned a number of Addy awards for his illustrating work in the advertising field as well as 17 awards from the 3-Dimensional Illustrators of New York. He learned the art of caricaturing originally from the great Jess Rubio who taught and mentored Dee for 2 years. Expressiveness, spot on likenesses and clean drawings were a natural for Dee's talent and in 1980 he began his own business that brought joy and laughter to thousands of people all over the USA. He has drawn for major corporations, weddings, holiday parties, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, retirements and every event imaginable. Two of Dee's greatest assets are his sense of humor and his amazing ability to interact with people of any age. Dee's experience, ease to work with, and ability to produce great artwork makes him the obvious choice for your event.
