About the Artist
Michael’s favorite subject has always been capturing people’s personalities. He loves figuring out an individual’s character, studying the tiny details that make them unique. With many years working in a fast-paced environment he’s learned to do this within minutes, creating personalized caricatures with humor, speed and accuracy. He’s happy working in both traditional and digital caricatures. He first entered the caricature world working at Kings Island, a theme park in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. It was the ideal summer gig while as he attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati to study painting and illustration. Michael moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2008, where he continues his work as an illustrator and caricaturist. He’s been working in the industry for over seventeen years. He’s a member of ISCA, an international society of caricature artists. His weekly gigs include corporate events,trade shows, and private parties for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs,Sweet Sixteens and weddings .
